Home Visit

$0 In-Network or $200 Self-pay (Initial Visit)

A home visit provides personalized lactation support in the comfort of your own space. During the visit, a full feeding will be observed and assessed, including latch, positioning, and milk transfer. A weighted feed will be performed to determine how much your baby is taking in. Any equipment you use—such as pumps, bottles, or other feeding tools—can be reviewed to ensure everything is set up for comfort and efficiency. The visit includes a customized feeding plan that supports your goals and fits your family’s needs, plus plenty of time for questions and reassurance.

Length: About 60-90 minutes
Have ready: Your baby (ideally ready to feed) and any feeding supplies you use.

Virtual Visit

$0 In-Network or $125 Self-pay (Initial Visit)

A virtual visit offers expert lactation care from home with flexible scheduling. Through a secure video platform, a feeding can be observed and assessed, and any challenges with latch, positioning, or pumping can be addressed. Equipment such as pumps or bottles can also be reviewed to make sure they’re working efficiently and comfortably for you. Together, a personalized plan will be created to guide your feeding journey. A great option for families outside the local area or for quick troubleshooting between home visits.

Length: About 60 minutes
Have ready: A device with a camera, good lighting, your baby, and any feeding tools you’d like to review.

Most private insurances cover 100% of lactation services

If your plan is not listed as in-network here and you decide to self-pay, I will gladly provide you with a superbill (itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. By law, health insurance plans must provide coverage for lactation support, counseling, and equipment for the duration of breastfeeding. These services may be provided before and after birth. I encourage you to call your insurance company prior to your appointment so they can inform you of your benefits.

Whether you’re expecting, newly postpartum, or months into your breastfeeding journey — you deserve support that honors your choices and helps you thrive.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations whenever possible. Short-notice changes can make it hard for other families to be seen. I understand that unexpected things happen, and I’ll gladly work with you to find a new time. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
