Ensure your baby will be ready to feed shortly after appointment start time.

Things to have ready: baby’s weight history with dates, typical nursing set up, pumping equipment and other feeding supplies (if using).

Keep environment as distraction free as possible with pets contained so we can focus on you and your baby.

Yes! Most private insurances cover 100% of the cost of lactation consultations. See services tab to check your coverage.

Breastfeeding issues are often complex and solutions and strategies require tweaking and re-assessment. I will stick with you until you feel like you’re on the road to success as you define it! We can follow-up in person or through a virtual visit. Follow-up visits are usually shorter appointments.

In-home appointments include a $40 travel fee, which is separate from the lactation consultation and is not reimbursable by insurance.
