    • I will send you an intake form after booking a consult- Please complete at least 12 hours prior to your appt. so we can focus our time on you and your baby and not paperwork!

    • Ensure your baby will be ready to feed shortly after appointment start time.

    • Things to have ready: baby’s weight history with dates, typical nursing set up, pumping equipment and other feeding supplies (if using).

    • Keep environment as distraction free as possible with pets contained so we can focus on you and your baby.

    • Yes! Most private insurances cover 100% of the cost of lactation consultations. See services tab to check your coverage.

    • Breastfeeding issues are often complex and solutions and strategies require tweaking and re-assessment. I will stick with you until you feel like you’re on the road to success as you define it! We can follow-up in person or through a virtual visit. Follow-up visits are usually shorter appointments.

    • For in-home appointments which are less than 25 minutes of travel time (one way), I do not charge a travel fee. For appointments requiring 25-40 minutes of travel time, I charge $30.

    • You can check to see the travel time to your home (one way): Google maps.

    • Travel fees are not covered by insurance.
